Pokemon Jupiter - 6.04 (Ruby Hack) feels like stumbling into a forgotten version of Hoenn, but with enough tweaks to keep it fresh. The early game throws you into familiar territory—catching the usual suspects like Poochyena and Zigzagoon—but then you start noticing oddball encounters, like wild Shinx in the tall grass where it definitely shouldn’t be.
The gym leaders hit harder than you’d expect, and some of the map changes force you to rethink old routes. I remember getting stuck for way too long near the second gym because the pathing was just different enough to throw me off. The new sprites and music give it a slightly off-kilter vibe, like playing a parallel universe version of Ruby.
It’s not a total overhaul, but if you’ve burned through the original too many times, Pokemon Jupiter - 6.04 (Ruby Hack) at least makes the grind feel new again.
