Pokemon Saphir (G) is one of those GBA games that just sticks with you. The Hoenn region feels alive, with its mix of ocean routes and dense forests, and the first time you step into Petalburg Woods, you realize how much there is to explore.
Team Aqua's whole water obsession gives the story a weird but interesting twist. I remember getting stuck near Slateport City because I kept losing to their grunts—took me a while to realize my team just wasn't balanced enough. The gym leaders are no joke either, especially Wattson with his electric types if you picked Treecko.
It's got that classic Pokemon grind, but in a good way. You'll spend hours just wandering, fishing for Feebas, or trying to evolve your Ralts into something useful. Pokemon Saphir (G) still holds up as one of the better GBA RPGs.
