Your main job is to seek out these corrupted Pokemon, snag them from their trainers in battle using a special device, and then work to purify them. The core loop involves exploring areas screen by screen, engaging in turn-based battles, and slowly building a team of purified allies. The game's pacing is deliberate, with a focus on this rehabilitation process rather than just catching everything in sight. It feels like a detective mission mixed with monster taming, where every successful purification is a small victory against a pervasive gloom.
