Polo on the Atari 2600 is exactly what it sounds like—horseback polo, but pixelated and way more chaotic than the real thing. You control your blocky horse with the joystick while the game automatically swings your mallet, sending the ball flying toward the opponent’s goal. No finesse here—just pure, frantic back-and-forth.

What’s neat is how many ways you can tweak the rules. Sometimes the ball bounces off the edges, other times it wraps around the screen like an old-school Pac-Man level. You can even play with two horses per side if you want double the mayhem. It’s simple, but there’s something weirdly satisfying about whacking that square ball past your friend’s goal.
