Game Overview

Porky’s on the Atari 2600 is one of those weird, scrappy little games that somehow sticks with you. You play as Pee Wee, a guy with a grudge against Porky—some bar owner who dissed him and his buddies. Revenge is the name of the game, and it’s not exactly subtle.

First, you’re dodging traffic on the highway, weaving between cars and trucks like some kind of backroads daredevil. Mess up, and you’re roadkill. Make it to the top, and you bust into Porky’s Bar, where things get even weirder. Now you’re climbing scaffolding, planting explosives while Porky’s goons try to knock you off. Fall, and you’re dragged off to the swamp—game over. But if you reach the detonator? Boom. Sweet, pixelated justice.

It’s janky, it’s tough, and the controls take some getting used to, but there’s something oddly satisfying about finally blowing that place sky-high.
