You control one Ranger at a time, punching and kicking through waves of robotic enemies across side-scrolling levels. The main goal is to reach the end of each stage and defeat the boss waiting there. A key feature lets you switch between any of the five Rangers on the fly, each with their own special move activated by a button combination. Some stages break up the action with first-person Megazord battles, where you target enemy weak points in a simple shooting gallery setup. The difficulty is fairly steady, with enemy patterns that are predictable but still demand attention. It feels straightforward and energetic, like a condensed version of Saturday morning action.
