Game Overview
If you grew up watching Power Rangers: Time Force, this Game Boy Color brawler is pure nostalgia fuel. You jump right into the action as the Rangers, punching and kicking your way through mutant goons across different time periods—future cities, medieval castles, you name it. Jen’s blaster shots feel snappy, Wes’s sword slashes have a nice weight to them, and yeah, you’ll definitely spam those special moves when things get chaotic.
The pixel art holds up surprisingly well, with bright colors and chunky sprites that make the fights easy to follow. It’s not the deepest beat-’em-up out there, but there’s something satisfying about clearing a screen of enemies with a well-timed morphing sequence. Just don’t expect a cakewalk—some of those later levels get brutal if you’re not careful.
Honestly, it’s one of the better Power Rangers games from that era. You can tell they actually tried to capture the show’s energy instead of just slapping the license on some generic action.
