Play Power Rangers : Time Force Online
Pick your Ranger, smash through mutant hordes, and flip between forms mid-fight when bosses get cheap. The pixel-perfect morphing sequences and combo-heavy brawling make this feel like the show cranked up to 11.

I picked up Power Rangers: Time Force for the Game Boy Advance back in 2001, a THQ release that was part of that early wave of licensed games trying to find their footing on the new handheld. It wasn't trying to reinvent the wheel, just deliver a solid side-scrolling beat 'em up that captured the spirit of the TV series, and for the most part, it succeeded in being a straightforward, colorful distraction.
You control one of the five Time Force Rangers, each with their own basic attack strings and a special move, as you punch and kick your way through screen after screen of mutant foot soldiers. The main objective is to fight through linear levels to reach a boss, which usually requires quick reflexes and learning their patterns. A couple of the signature mechanics include being able to switch between your civilian form and armored Ranger form on the fly, which changes your move set, and executing screen-clearing special attacks once a meter is filled. The pacing is brisk, and the difficulty can spike unexpectedly on some of the later bosses. It feels like a competent, if slightly repetitive, arcade-style brawler that captures the simple joy of throwing a flurry of punches as a superhero.
