Play Pro Mahjong Kiwame II (Japan) (Rev A) Online

The AI opponents actually know what they're doing—you'll sweat trying to outplay them while that satisfying tile-click sound keeps you company. Good luck explaining the scoring to your friend when they inevitably ask why they just lost all their points.

Game Overview

Pro Mahjong Kiwame II is one of those SNES mahjong games that feels way more polished than it has any right to be. You’ve got the usual tile-matching chaos, but the AI actually puts up a decent fight—none of that "easy mode" nonsense where the computer just hands you wins. First time I booted it up, I got wrecked by some old lady NPC who kept calling "Riichi" at the worst possible moments.

You can play solo against the CPU or drag a friend into it, though good luck explaining the scoring system to them. The tiles have that satisfying chunky SNES look, and there’s just enough background chatter from opponents to make it feel alive without being annoying. If you’ve ever wanted to lose virtual money in a very specific Japanese way, this is your game.
