Play Pro Wrestling Online
Pick a wrestler, mash buttons, and feel like a champ when you barely reverse a pin—the tiny sprites somehow make every suplex feel huge.

Pro Wrestling came out on the Game Boy in 1986, developed by Nintendo R&D1. It was one of the early attempts to bring a grappling sport to a handheld, a time when most portable games were simpler arcade or puzzle titles. You got a small roster of wrestlers with different moves, all rendered in that classic, chunky pixel style the system was known for.
You control a single wrestler from a side view, trying to pin your opponent's shoulders to the mat for a three count. The main mechanics involve running, grappling, and executing moves like dropkicks or suplexes once you lock up. Matches are fast and a bit chaotic; the controls can feel stiff, and reversing an opponent's move requires good timing. It feels satisfying to finally land a big move and get the win, even with the simple presentation.
