Game Overview
Progress is one of those arcade games that looks simple at first—just a little character running and jumping—but then suddenly you're dodging lasers, timing jumps over moving platforms, and trying not to panic when the screen starts scrolling faster. The controls are tight, which helps when you're mid-air and realize you misjudged a gap (happens more than I'd like to admit).
What I like is how it throws new twists at you every few levels—one minute you're avoiding spikes, the next you're bouncing off trampolines while some weird floating enemy shoots at you. The power-ups feel satisfying too, especially the double jump that lets you cheat death by a pixel. It's got that "one more try" energy of old arcade games, but without the quarter-munching cruelty.
Fair warning: the music will get stuck in your head, and you might start seeing obstacle patterns when you close your eyes. That's normal.
