Pursuit Force came out on the PlayStation Portable in 2005, developed by Bigbig Studios and published by Sony. It was one of those early PSP titles that really tried to push what the handheld could do, focusing on fast action and spectacle rather than deep storytelling or complex mechanics.

You play as a member of an elite police unit tasked with taking down five criminal gangs. The core of the game involves high-speed chases where you leap from your vehicle onto enemy cars, wrestle control from the driver, and then use their own weapons against them. Missions are built around these frantic pursuits, often requiring you to eliminate a certain number of targets or protect a convoy under fire. The pacing is relentless, and the difficulty can be punishing if your timing is off. It feels like a controlled rush, where every successful jump and takedown gives you a real shot of adrenaline.
