Puzzle Bobble (or Bust-A-Move, depending on where you grew up) is that arcade game where you’re a little dragon shooting colored bubbles at the ceiling. The goal’s simple—match three of the same color to pop them—but it gets surprisingly tense when the ceiling starts creeping closer. I always panic when I miss a shot and realize I’ve just made the whole mess worse.
The bubbles make this satisfying *plink* sound when they connect, and there’s something weirdly satisfying about watching a whole chain collapse because you hit the right one. Some levels start with the bubbles already arranged in tricky patterns, so you’ve got to think a move or two ahead. It’s one of those games where you swear you’ll stop after one round, and suddenly it’s been twenty.
