Puzzle'n Desu! came out for the Super Nintendo in 1995, developed by KAZe. It was one of those late-era SNES puzzle games that didn't get a lot of attention, but it had a small, dedicated following. It fit right in with the kind of thoughtful, sometimes frantic, tile-based games that were popular on the system.

You control a cursor to push blocks around single-screen puzzles, trying to clear a path to the exit. The main objective is to solve each stage by moving blocks into specific positions, but they slide until they hit a wall, so you have to plan each push carefully. The game includes a four-player versus mode where you can ruin each other's progress, and there's a level editor to create and share your own devious puzzles. The difficulty ramps up steadily, demanding more foresight with each new set of stages. It feels satisfying to finally nudge that last block into place after several failed attempts.
