Game Overview
Q*bert 3 on SNES takes that weird little hopping guy from the arcade and gives him a fresh coat of paint. You’re still bouncing around pyramid blocks, trying to change their color while dodging enemies—but now the stages get wilder, with new layouts and themes that keep you on your toes.
The first few levels ease you in, but by level 3, you’ll be frantically hopping between disappearing tiles while some purple snake thing chases you. There’s something oddly satisfying about the way Q*bert’s little legs flail mid-jump, especially when you barely dodge an enemy at the last second.
It’s simple, but those later boards get seriously mean. I still haven’t beaten level 20 without cheating.
