Play Quattro Arcade Online
Four bizarre NES games in one cartridge - bomb-tossing elephants, maze buggies, rogue jets, and fruit-collecting adventures. Janky but oddly charming multiplayer fun.
Quattro Arcade came out in 1991 for the NES, published by Codemasters. It was one of those oddball multicart releases that showed up late in the system's life, bundling four separate games into one package when most publishers had already moved on to newer consoles. It didn't get much attention at the time, but it had a certain scrappy appeal if you were looking for something a little different.
You jump between four distinct games, each with its own rules. In Boomerang Kid, you toss bombs as an elephant to clear maze-like stages. Super Robin Hood is a side-scroller where you shoot arrows and avoid enemies. Treasure Island Dizzy has you exploring screens, collecting items, and solving simple puzzles. BMX Simulator is a top-down racer where you navigate obstacle-filled tracks. The pacing is uneven, and some of the games feel clunky or overly difficult, but there's a genuine, unpolished charm to switching between such different experiences. It feels like digging through a box of forgotten toys, each one rough around the edges but full of personality.
