Play R.C. Pro-Am (Europe) Online
Race your RC car against opponents, dodge hazards, collect power-ups, and try to finish first on tricky tracks in R.C. Pro-Am for NES.
R.C. Pro-Am came out for the NES in 1988, developed by Rare. It was part of that wave of early console games that focused on straightforward, competitive fun rather than sprawling stories or complex graphics. You just picked up the controller and raced.
You control a small blue radio-controlled car from an overhead view, racing against three computer opponents on isometric tracks. The main goal is to finish first across a series of increasingly difficult courses. You collect power-ups like missiles to shoot rivals, temporary shields, and rolling tires that act as extra hits before you crash. The tracks are narrow and filled with hazards, such as oil slicks that spin you out and static obstacles that break your car on impact. The game moves quickly and demands sharp reflexes; one mistake can ruin an entire race. It feels tense and rewarding when you finally thread the needle on a tough corner and pull ahead.
