Game Overview
Rampage 2: Universal Tour is basically the same glorious chaos as the original—just with a little extra polish. You pick one of seven monsters (four new ones this time) and go absolutely feral on cities, smashing buildings, eating people, and generally causing mayhem. The sprites look sharper than the first game, and there’s a power meter now, which is handy when you really want to demolish that one stubborn skyscraper.
What’s fun is how little it tries to reinvent itself. You still hop between cities, punching helicopters out of the sky and getting zapped by the military. The new combo moves add some variety, but honestly, half the time I just button-mash and watch the destruction unfold. Three-player mode is pure anarchy—good luck coordinating anything beyond "destroy everything."
If you liked the original, this is more of that same dumb, satisfying fun. Just don’t expect deep strategy when your main goal is to reduce Tokyo to rubble before lunch.
