Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters came out for the PlayStation Portable in 2007, developed by High Impact Games and published by Sony. It was one of the stronger original titles on the PSP, bringing the series' blend of action and platforming to a handheld without losing much of its identity. The game arrived when the system was building a solid library of action adventures, and it fit right in.

You control Ratchet, jumping between platforms, blasting enemies with an array of creative weapons, and solving light puzzles. Your main goal is to rescue a young girl named Luna while uncovering a larger threat. Signature mechanics include upgrading weapons through repeated use and collecting bolts to purchase new gear; the armor system also lets you mix and match pieces for different stat bonuses. The pacing is brisk, with levels that shift between traditional running and gunning, space combat, and occasional turret sections. It feels satisfying to experiment with the weird arsenal and see your firepower grow.
