Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters is one of those rare PSP games that actually makes the handheld feel like a tiny console. You’ve got all the usual chaos—weird guns, ridiculous gadgets, and that snarky back-and-forth between Ratchet and Clank—but somehow crammed onto the smaller screen without losing any of the charm.
The first ten minutes throw you right into it: blasting robots with a gun that turns them into explosive chickens (because of course it does), then hopping between floating platforms while Clank rattles off some sarcastic quip. The controls take a second to get used to on the PSP, but once you do, it’s surprisingly smooth for a portable version of a series known for its tight platforming.
And yeah, the humor’s still there. If you’ve played any Ratchet & Clank game before, you know what to expect—just maybe a little more compact this time.
