Reach For The Stars - Conquest Of The Galaxy is one of those classic Amiga strategy games that somehow still holds up. You start with a single planet and a handful of ships, and suddenly you're deep in galactic politics—negotiating with alien races, managing resources, and trying not to get wiped out by the guy who always rushes battleships. The Third Edition cleaned up some of the clunky UI, but it still has that satisfyingly dense feel where every decision matters. Just don't expect mercy from the AI factions—they play dirty.

First time I booted it up, I lost three colonies before realizing I should've invested in better scanners. Lesson learned.
