Tiny Toon Adventures: Acme All Stars came out for the Sega Genesis in 1994, developed and published by Konami. It was one of those mid-90s licensed games that tried to capture the show's energy without just being another platformer. You got a sports compilation instead, which felt fresh at the time, even if it was a bit niche.
You choose from characters like Buster Bunny or Plucky Duck and compete in events such as basketball, hockey, and soccer, each with exaggerated, physics-bending rules. The main goal is to win tournaments across different sporting environments, using special moves and interactive stage hazards to outscore opponents. Matches are fast and a little unpredictable, with items like anvils or TNT frequently altering the score. It’s silly, occasionally frustrating, but genuinely fun with a friend.
