Realms_Disk2 is one of those old-school Amiga strategy games that somehow makes you feel like you're actually running a kingdom—for better or worse. You start off as this newly crowned king, and surprise, surprise, everyone around you wants a piece of your land. The map is massive, with this weirdly satisfying fractal-generated terrain that makes every playthrough feel different.

You’ve got these huge armies—like, thousands of soldiers—and you can shuffle them into different formations before sending them off to fight. At first, I just threw them into battle in a messy blob, but turns out, lining them up in wedge formations actually works way better against cavalry. And the towns? They’re packed with gold and people you can recruit (or, you know, conquer).

It’s chaotic, a little janky, and somehow still weirdly addictive. If you ever wanted to feel like a medieval ruler making terrible decisions under pressure, this is the game for you.
