Return of the Jedi on SNES is one of those licensed games that actually gets the vibe right. You pick from Luke, Han, Leia, or Chewie—each handles totally differently, which is cool until you realize Chewie’s crossbow feels weirdly slow compared to Luke’s lightsaber. The levels jump between platforming, speeder bike chases, and even a Millennium Falcon shootout, so it never gets stale.
Some parts are janky (good luck nailing those speeder bike turns), but blasting through Jabba’s goons or dueling with a lightsaber still feels satisfying. It’s not the deepest game, but if you grew up with the movie, it’s a fun little nostalgia trip. Just don’t expect it to hold up like a proper Star Wars RPG.
