Play Return of the Jedi Online

I picked up Return of the Jedi for the Super Nintendo back in 1994, a LucasArts release that came out when the SNES was really hitting its stride. It was one of those licensed games that tried to follow the movie pretty closely, and it came along at a time when action platformers were everywhere. You could tell they put some effort into making it look and sound like Star Wars, even if it wasn't the most ambitious title on the system.

You control Luke Skywalker through most of the game, with some sections letting you play as Leia or Chewbacca. The goal is to advance screen by screen, fighting off enemies from the film like Jabba's guards and scout troopers. Combat is straightforward; you use a lightsaber to slash through foes, and there are occasional vehicle stages, like the speeder bike chase on Endor. The pacing is fairly quick, though some sections can feel repetitive, and the difficulty spikes in places, especially during boss fights. It feels like a straightforward, sometimes clunky, but earnest attempt to let you play through the movie's key moments.
