Play Revolution X Online
Blast through weirdo enemies with a CD gun while Aerosmith’s pixelated faces cheer you on—it’s like someone dumped a ‘90s arcade cabinet straight into your Genesis.

Game Overview
Revolution X is one of those ridiculous '90s arcade shooters where the plot makes zero sense—and that's why it's great. Some evil regime bans rock music (the horror!), so naturally, Aerosmith shows up to save the day with a CD-shaped gun. You blast through waves of enemies, rescuing brainwashed teens while Steven Tyler’s digitized face cheers you on.
The whole thing feels like a fever dream—grainy FMV cutscenes, pixelated band members popping up mid-level, and power-ups that look like they were ripped from a neon arcade cabinet. It’s janky, loud, and somehow exactly what you’d expect from a game where the soundtrack is basically just "Walk This Way" on repeat.
If you miss the era of light guns and over-the-top digitized graphics, this is pure nostalgia in cartridge form.
