Play Revolution X on Snes Online
Blast through a dystopian future where CDs are your bullets and Aerosmith keeps popping up to cheer you on—it’s as ridiculous and fun as it sounds.

Game Overview
Revolution X on SNES is basically what happens when someone took Aerosmith, a light gun shooter, and a dystopian rock rebellion, then threw them all into a blender. You play as... well, you, I guess, fighting against this weird authoritarian regime that’s outlawed music (rude).
The whole thing feels like a fever dream—digitized Aerosmith members pop up between levels to cheer you on while you blast enemies with a CD shooter (yes, CDs are your ammo). The graphics are this weird mix of FMV cutscenes and digitized sprites that somehow make everything look both cheap and awesome at the same time.
Gameplay’s straightforward—point, shoot, dodge, repeat—but there’s something oddly satisfying about mowing down bad guys to the sound of Steven Tyler yelling at you to save rock ‘n’ roll. Just don’t think too hard about the plot, or why you’re rescuing cheerleaders in the middle of a warzone.
It’s janky, loud, and absolutely knows what it is—a ridiculous ‘90s arcade port that somehow got weirder on SNES.
