You control a cursor on screen, shooting at a constant stream of enemies who pop up from behind cars, windows, and other scenery. Your main goal is to rescue hostages and survive each stage, which plays out as a series of fixed screens you move through. Two key mechanics are collecting CDs to use as ammo and finding hidden dancers to replenish your health; the pacing is relentless, with enemies attacking from all sides almost non-stop. It feels like a chaotic, slightly overwhelming shooting gallery set to a rock soundtrack.
