Play RHI Roller Hockey '95 (Proto) Online

Pick a team, lace up the rollerblades, and watch everything devolve into chaotic hockey brawls where players go flying and the puck’s basically a bullet. That announcer won’t shut up, and that’s half the charm.

Game Overview

RHI Roller Hockey '95 is that weird, unfinished SNES hockey game that somehow ended up being way more fun than it had any right to be. You pick from these rough-looking teams with oversized jerseys, and suddenly you're slamming guys into the boards on rollerblades like it's some kind of hockey-themed street brawl. The physics are ridiculous in the best way—players go flying after big hits, and the puck moves at about 300 mph.

It's got that early '90s arcade sports vibe where everything's exaggerated: the announcer yells nonsense, the soundtrack sounds like a garage band covering NHL '94, and the pixel art makes every player look like they're permanently mid-scream. My first game ended with like 20 goals total because defense is basically optional.

If you've got a friend around, the two-player mode turns into pure chaos—we kept accidentally checking each other more than the AI opponents. It's janky, unbalanced, and clearly unfinished, but that's kind of why it works. This is what happens when hockey and NBA Jam have a weird baby.
