Riding Hero (Set 2) is one of those Neo Geo games that feels like a weird mix of motorcycle racing and beat 'em up action. You hop on your bike, punch rival riders mid-race, and try not to wipe out on tight turns—which happens way more than you'd think at first. The controls take a minute to get used to, especially when you're trying to time attacks while dodging traffic.
There’s something oddly satisfying about landing a solid hit and watching your opponent skid off the road. The tracks get tougher as you go, and some of the later races feel downright brutal. It’s not the deepest racer out there, but the sheer absurdity of punching guys at 100 mph makes it worth a few playthroughs. Just don’t expect it to play like a traditional racing game.
