Play Robin Smith's International Cricket Online
1990 Amiga cricket management game. Control 1 of 7 international teams in 40-60 over one-day matches (single or 3/5-game series). Select 11-player squads, set tactics, adjust to conditions, choose from 9 field layouts. Top-down view with live commentary.

Robin Smith's International Cricket came out on the Amiga in 1990, developed by Audiogenic and published by Challenge Software. It was one of the cricket titles you'd see around that time, aiming for a more serious simulation feel compared to some of the arcade-style sports games on the platform.
You take control of one of seven international teams, managing everything from selecting your eleven-player squad to setting field placements and bowling tactics. The main objective is to win either a single one-day match or a short series of three or five games, each lasting between forty and sixty overs. Key mechanics include choosing from nine distinct field layouts to counter the batsmen and making critical bowling changes based on the match situation. The game moves at a deliberate pace, requiring patience and strategic thinking rather than quick reflexes. It feels like you are genuinely plotting your way through an innings, making each defensive block or boundary hit matter.
