Game Overview

Rockman 2 (or Mega Man 2 if you grew up with the US version) is one of those NES games that just sticks with you. You start off picking your first Robot Master to tackle—Metal Man’s stage was always my go-to because his weapon wrecks half the other bosses. The music? Unreal. Bubble Man’s theme still randomly pops into my head decades later.

This hack—IKA’s "No Constancy" version—tweaks things just enough to mess with veterans. Boss patterns shift, some weapons behave differently, and good luck relying on old strategies. It’s still classic Mega Man, just with that extra layer of "wait, since when did Quick Boomerang do THAT?" thrown in. The password system’s a lifesaver, though—no way I’d beat this in one sitting.

If you’ve played the original to death, this romhack gives it new teeth.
