Game Overview

Rockman 2 – Dr. Wily no Nazo is one of those NES classics that still holds up. You jump, shoot, and steal weapons from eight Robot Masters, each with their own gimmicky stage (Metal Man’s level has those disappearing blocks that still give me nightmares). The hack here tweaks things a bit—faster movement, different enemy placements—but it’s still the same tight, punishing platforming that made the original so addictive.

And yeah, the music slaps. Bubble Man’s theme lives in my head rent-free. Just don’t forget to farm E-tanks before Wily’s fortress, or you’re in for a bad time.
