I picked up The Rub Rabbits! back in 2005, a quirky Nintendo DS title from Sonic Team. You control a rabbit character trying to win over various love interests by completing a series of touch-based mini-games. The main objective is to successfully flirt and overcome rivals through actions like swiping the screen to push away competitors or rubbing vigorously to "dry" your crush after she gets splashed. The pacing is fast and often frantic, demanding quick reflexes and precise stylus movements, and the difficulty can spike unexpectedly if your timing is off. It feels chaotic and silly in a way that's uniquely satisfying when you pull it off.
