Play Rugrats Movie on GBC Online
You crawl around as Tommy, stacking blocks to raid the fridge and chucking toys at closet monsters—everything feels like an epic quest when you're knee-high.

I picked up Rugrats Movie on Game Boy Color back in 1999, a time when licensed games were everywhere and THQ was cranking them out. It was one of those games you’d rent for the weekend, hoping it captured some of the show’s charm without being too frustrating. The graphics were bright and colorful, typical for the platform, and it felt right at home among other kid-oriented titles of the era.
You control Tommy Pickles, crawling through familiar locations like the house and backyard. Your main goal is to rescue Tommy’s baby brother Dil from a group of monkeys who’ve snatched him. You explore screen by screen, stacking blocks to reach high places and throwing toys like a rubber duck or a rattle to defeat enemies or hit switches. The pacing is slow and deliberate, which fits the crawling perspective but can feel a bit repetitive. It’s not especially hard, but some puzzles require patience. Playing it feels like you’re actually navigating the world from a toddler’s point of view, where every obstacle seems huge and every small victory matters.
