Play Rushing Beat Shura (Japan) Online
You grab thugs by the throat and hurl them into neon-lit storefronts, countering attacks with brutal slams—it’s all crunchy hits and desperate pipe swings against towering bosses.

Rushing Beat Shura came out in 1993 for the Super Nintendo, developed by Jaleco. It was part of a small wave of beat 'em ups on the system that tried to stand out with a darker, more aggressive style, moving away from the brighter, more cartoonish brawlers of the late 80s.
You control one of three martial artists fighting through city streets and industrial zones to rescue a kidnapped girl. The game progresses screen by screen, with you clearing each area of thugs before moving on. Key mechanics include grappling enemies to perform throws or slams, picking up weapons like pipes or knives, and using special attacks that drain your health. The pacing is fast and the difficulty is high, with aggressive enemy AI and screen-filling bosses. It feels raw and immediate, like every fight could be your last.
