The haunted carnival level still sticks with me—those creepy animatronics were way more unsettling than I expected from a kid’s game.
It’s not just button-mashing, either. You actually have to think a little—like figuring out which disguise fools which villain, or where to backtrack once you find a new ability. The puzzles aren’t brain-melters, but they’re satisfying to solve, especially when you unmask the bad guy and get that classic "I would’ve gotten away with it!" moment. If you grew up on Scooby-Doo cartoons, the vibe is spot-on, right down to the goofy dialogue.
Fair warning: the controls can feel a bit stiff sometimes, especially when you’re trying to line up precise jumps. But the charm and variety make up for it. You’ll be switching between sneaking, platforming, and even some light combat before the first mystery’s wrapped up.
