Game Overview

I remember Scrolling Walls from 1988, a Kingsoft GmbH release on the Amiga. It was one of those games that felt right at home on the platform, a time when developers were really pushing what you could do with color and smooth scrolling. It took the familiar brick-breaking concept and gave it a fresh, dynamic twist.

You control a paddle at the bottom of the screen, deflecting a ball to break through elaborate, multi-layered walls that scroll vertically. The main goal is to clear each stage by shattering every brick, but the challenge comes from the constant movement; the wall doesn't wait for you, so you have to keep up. Some bricks take multiple hits, and the ball speed can change, forcing quick adjustments. It feels tense and immediate, a race against the screen's own momentum.
