Game Overview

Space Walls II was part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, a compilation that brought together a number of early PC titles. The game fits squarely into that era of straightforward, uncomplicated arcade-style experiences, built for quick sessions and focused gameplay. It doesn't carry the name of a famous developer, but it represents a common type of release from that period: a polished iteration on a familiar concept.

You control a horizontal paddle at the bottom of the screen, using it to bounce a ball upward and break apart formations of colorful, geometric blocks. The main objective is to clear each stage by destroying every block without letting the ball fall past your paddle. Signature mechanics include ricocheting the ball at precise angles to hit blocks in tight spaces and catching power-ups that drop from broken blocks, which can widen your paddle, add extra balls, or grant other temporary advantages. The pacing is methodical but demanding, with the difficulty ramping up as block patterns become more complex and the ball accelerates. It feels like a test of steady concentration and sharp reflexes, a quiet but persistent challenge against the void of the screen.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
