Command a squad of chibi Gundams in tight tactical battles—those tiny beam sabers hurt more than they look when you mess up positioning.

Ever wanted to command a squad of tiny, super-deformed Gundams in tactical battles? That’s exactly what you get here—a surprisingly deep SNES strategy game where chibi Zakus and Gundams duke it out on grid-based maps. At first glance, it looks cute, but don’t be fooled: positioning and unit types matter way more than you’d expect.
The missions throw you straight into Universal Century conflicts, with just enough story between battles to keep things interesting if you’re a Gundam fan. I remember getting wrecked early on by underestimating enemy reinforcements—turns out even SD mobile suits hit hard when you leave your support units exposed. The sprite work’s charmingly retro, and there’s something weirdly satisfying about watching these squat little mechs unleash beam sabers and bazookas.
It’s not the most polished strategy game out there, but if you’re into niche SNES titles or old-school Gundam, this one’s a fun time capsule. Just save often—some of those mission fail conditions come out of nowhere.
