Play Sea Quest Online
Dodging pixelated sea monsters with a flashlight, grabbing treasure before something grabs you—those eerie bloops still haunt me. Arrow keys and adrenaline, no handholding.

Sea Quest was part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, though it didn't have a specific numbered release in that series. The game was developed by Sierra On-Line, a name familiar to many who grew up with early PC adventures. It arrived during a time when graphical adventures were still finding their footing, relying on simple visuals and keyboard controls to build tension and tell a story.
You control a deep sea diver exploring a dark, maze-like ocean floor, armed only with a limited-use flashlight and a harpoon gun. Your goal is to collect treasure chests scattered across the seabed while avoiding or fending off hostile sea creatures like electric eels and sharks. The game plays screen by screen, with each new area revealing more dangers or rewards. Managing your oxygen supply and ammunition adds constant pressure, and the enemies respawn if you leave and return to a screen, which keeps you moving. It feels tense and isolating, like you are truly alone in the deep with only your wits to keep you alive.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
