Seifuku Densetsu Pretty Fighter is one of those weird, charming SNES fighters that never left Japan. You've got an all-girl cast duking it out in school uniforms—some throw fireballs, others fight with umbrellas, and one even uses a giant syringe like a spear. The sprites are chunky and colorful, with that classic early '90s anime look.
It plays like a stripped-down Street Fighter II, but with way more absurdity. The first time I tried it, I picked the nurse character just to see what would happen, and sure enough, she's stabbing people with medical equipment. Not exactly balanced, but hilarious. The backgrounds are full of little details too, like cheering students or cherry blossoms falling during fights.
Definitely more of a novelty than a serious fighter, but it's got personality for days.
