You control Shaq, a massive sprite who moves through side scrolling stages, punching and kicking a stream of strange enemies. The goal is to rescue a boy by fighting through different levels, using basic combos and a clumsy jump to get by. The hit detection is unreliable, the platforming is awkward, and the enemies respawn quickly, making progress feel more like stubborn persistence than skill. It feels like wrestling with the hardware itself just to finish a stage.
