Play Shaq Fu (Beta) Online
You play as Shaq throwing wild punches at mummies in a glitchy SNES fighter that’s so bad it’s good—like watching a B-movie with a gamepad in your hands.

Shaq Fu was a 1994 Super Nintendo Entertainment System release from Delphine Software International. It arrived during the SNES era, a time when licensed games and celebrity tie-ins were common, though few stood out for their quality or lasting appeal. The game attempted to blend basketball star Shaquille O'Neal's persona with a side-scrolling beat 'em up format, but it never quite found its footing among players or critics.
You control Shaq as he moves through a series of urban and fantasy-inspired stages, fighting off waves of enemies with a mix of punches, kicks, and special moves. The main objective is to rescue a child from an otherworldly dimension by defeating a series of bosses. Signature mechanics include a combo system that feels unresponsive at times, screen-by-screen progression that can feel repetitive, and occasional platforming sections that add little to the flow. The pacing is uneven, and the difficulty often stems more from awkward controls than thoughtful design. Playing it feels like wrestling with the controller just to make it through each stage.
