At first glance, it looks like a simple trading sim—buy spices cheap in one port, sell high in another—but then some duke asks you to smuggle contraband or destabilize a rival's economy, and suddenly you're part merchant, part shadow diplomat.
The pixel art markets have this great hustle-and-bustle vibe, with traders shouting prices and goods piling up in the corners. I lost hours just figuring out which towns had secret trade routes or which nobles could be bribed with exotic fruit. It’s got that old-school Uncharted Waters vibe but with more backroom deals. Fair warning: your first playthrough will probably end with you bankrupt and exiled after accidentally arming a rebellion. Worth it.
