Ever wanted to see how long you'd last stranded on a tropical island? The Sims 2: Castaway throws your little pixelated survivor into exactly that situation—except with way fewer mosquitoes and way more oddly cheerful flute music.
You start shipwrecked with nothing but your wits, and suddenly picking berries feels like a life-or-death decision. The first time I played, I accidentally ate something poisonous because, well, "red = probably fine" isn’t great survival logic. You’ll scavenge for materials, build rickety shelters (that somehow look cozy anyway), and befriend monkeys who may or may not steal your stuff. It’s less about perfect Sims-style homes and more about making fire without setting your eyebrows on fire.
Also, yes, you can still flirt with other castaways, because even stranded on a beach, Sims gotta Sim.
