Game Overview
Space Football on SNES is what happens when someone takes regular football, straps jetpacks to the players, and says "what if we did this in space?" The gravity is wonky, the stadiums look like neon space stations, and half the time you're just trying not to crash into floating debris mid-play. I thought the power-ups would be gimmicky, but nope—watching your quarterback suddenly get super-speed or your receiver turn into a literal human missile is weirdly satisfying.
It's got that perfect '90s arcade vibe where the rules barely matter and everything's dialed up to 11. The first time I saw a player get tackled so hard they spun like a top in zero-G, I couldn't stop laughing. Definitely one of those "wait, how have I never heard of this before?" SNES games.
