Game Overview
Spider-Man: Friend or Foe on PSP is one of those weird, fun little spin-offs where you end up teaming up with villains you just fought. Like, you’ll knock Electro’s lights out in one mission, and the next thing you know, he’s cracking jokes while zapping bad guys alongside you. The co-op mode’s a blast if you’ve got a buddy with a PSP—nothing like webbing up thugs while your friend plays as Venom and just wrecks everything.
It’s got that classic beat-em-up feel with some light puzzles, and the PSP version throws in Carnage and an extra level you won’t find elsewhere. The writing’s cheesy in that old-school Spider-Man way, and the combat’s simple but satisfying when you pull off team moves. Definitely more arcade-y than the big console games, but sometimes that’s exactly what you want.
Just don’t go in expecting a deep story—this is pure comic book nonsense in the best way possible.
