Game Overview

Spiderdroid is one of those weirdly addictive Atari 2600 games where you play as a futuristic spider-bot trying to web up an entire building. You crawl along girders, leaving behind strands—when you complete a loop around an opening, your droid throws a web over it like some high-tech spider claiming territory.

Problem is, the place is crawling with Birddroids that’ll chomp you if they catch you. You get a few "magic spells" (just hit the joystick button) to turn them invisible for a second or two, but you can only use it four times per Spiderdroid. Mess up, and suddenly you’re bird food.

Once you web up the first building, things get wild—your next droid’s a Mummydroid, and now you’re dealing with Skeledroids. It’s simple but tense, and way more strategic than it looks at first glance.
