Starship Hector is this weird little NES gem where you're piloting a tiny starfighter through alien-infested levels that keep switching perspectives—one minute you're flying top-down, the next it's side-scrolling. Your ship's got two weapons: a basic laser for air targets and this separate ground bomb you have to time just right. Mess that up, and those crawling enemies will wreck you.
The shield system's neat—some enemies drop health pickups, but most of the time you're just barely scraping by. It's got that classic '80s arcade vibe where everything's trying to kill you, and the screen's always packed with bullets and weird alien designs. Not gonna lie, the first time the perspective shifted mid-level, I crashed immediately.
