Play Starship Invasion Online

You dodge pixel aliens swarming like angry bees, squeezing shots between their dive-bombing runs while the screen fills with chaos. That old DOS laser sound still lives in my head.

Game Overview

Starship Invasion was part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, a compilation that bundled several titles from the early PC gaming era. It was developed by a small team whose name isn't widely remembered now, but the game fits right into that period of straightforward, uncomplicated shooters designed for quick sessions. You won't find elaborate backstories or cinematic cutscenes here; it's pure action from the moment you boot it up.

You control a lone starship fixed at the bottom of the screen, tasked with defending against waves of descending alien invaders. Your main objective is simple: survive as long as possible and rack up points by blasting every enemy that appears. The gameplay hinges on precise movement and timing, as you dodge incoming fire and weave through formations of pixelated foes. Enemy patterns shift with each level, some diving aggressively while others hang back to snipe, forcing you to adapt your strategy on the fly. The difficulty ramps up quickly, and one mistimed move can end your run in an instant. Playing it feels like walking a tightrope; every shot and every dodge matters, and the tension only lets up when you finally meet your end.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
