Street Fighter EX Plus is that weird, slightly janky 3D fighter from the late '90s that somehow still feels great to play. The characters move like they're stuck in molasses compared to modern fighters, but there's something satisfying about landing a clunky-but-devastating super combo. I spent way too long trying to figure out Kairi's weird teleport moves before realizing I should just stick to good old-fashioned fireballs.
The roster's got some deep cuts—like Skullomania, a guy in a skeleton costume who fights like a drunken office worker. The graphics haven't aged gracefully (those polygon faces are nightmare fuel), but the announcer yelling "FINAL ROUND!" still gets me hyped. It's definitely not the most balanced fighter out there, but that's part of the charm.
If you're looking for a polished competitive experience, play something else. If you want to laugh at ridiculous animations while accidentally discovering broken combos, this is your game.
